UWB = barrier-free university!
In the buildings of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, in which the lessons take place, barrier-free entrances and ramps, “stair climbers”, elevators, etc. are available. Barrier-free sanitary facilities are in operation in all buildings.
UWB buildings
The UWB buildings are not only in the campus in Bory, but are also scattered in the city center and its surroundings. Keep this in mind when creating your schedule! You can use study assistance from the beginning of the semester.
Barrier-free map
Accessibility and equipment of UWB buildings is available to explore in a barrier-free map. Visually impaired students have the opportunity to use a haptic model to orient themselves on the campus in Bory, which is available at the Counseling Centre of UWB. Individual objects of the model are equipped with labels in Braille. There is also a freely attached description of the model, which is also in Braille.
