Sweet and sour sauce with a touch of the Orient. Curry and vinegar may be a strange combination, but trust me, I know what I’m doing.
Amount: 2 portions
Ingredients
- 150 g rice
- 1 – 2 chicken breasts
- 2 sour apples
- apple vinegar
- 2 tablespoons plain flour
- turmeric
- coriander
- cloves
- salt
- oil
Directions
Peel the apples and grate them into a bowl. Cut the meat, put it in a saucepan with a little oil, sprinkle it with flour and crushed spices (it can be replaced by a curry mixture from a shop). Rinse the rice and cook it.
Fry the meat on a high gas and then add the grated apples. Stir and add hot water (depending on how much we want the sauce to be, or even thicken it – but carefully, it takes a while for the flour to boil and thicken the sauce, so it is always better to add less than more). If necessary, add apple vinegar – the sauce should have a sweet and sour taste, oriental.
Serve the rice spread in a circle and pour the meat and sauce into the middle.
Enjoy your meal!
