French baked potatoes


French potatoes like from mom.

Amount: 2-4 portions


  • 10 larger potatoes
  • 1 larger onion
  • 30 dkg gothaj
  • 250 ml cooking cream
  • 1 egg
  • 10 larger potatoes
  • oil


Peel the potatoes and onions and cut them into thin slices. We cut the gothaj into cubes and thus we have everything ready for folding into a baking dish. We drip some oil on the bottom of the baking dish and rub it. Then we start stacking the potato wheels next to each other to form a solid layer. We salt, pepper and sprinkle with a little onion and gothai. This is done until we fill the entire baking dish.

We will bake the prepared French potatoes for about 15 minutes, 200°C. Meanwhile, we pour the cream into a cup, knock one lucky egg into it, and with a little salt and pepper, we flush. After 15 minutes of baking we pour the potatoes with cream and egg and bake again for about 30 – 40 min. When the potatoes are golden and soft, we’re done.
